Privacy Policy
This policy describes the information PaintLog processes.

1. Paint-log data
PaintLog stores a log title; spaces and surfaces; brands, product lines, color names, codes, finishes, dates and notes; revisions, versions, lifecycle dates, and bounded activity.
2. Private access links
Manager and viewer URLs are bearer credentials. The server stores one-way capability values rather than raw secrets. Do not send a private link to support or publish it.
3. Data minimisation
PaintLog does not request accounts, addresses, photographs, receipts, prices, contractor identities, or contact books. Avoid putting sensitive household details into free text.
4. Technical data and analytics
Security logs may process an IP address, user agent, safe route template, correlation identifier, and timestamp. Optional analytics loads only after consent and is excluded from manager and viewer routes.
5. Retention and deletion
Empty, inactive, and closed logs have the deletion deadlines shown in the manager page. A manager can extend eligible retention or permanently delete the complete record.
